NexHawk (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the NexHawk mobile apps, web portal, and related services.

Information We Collect

• Account data — your name, email address, and profile photo, provided via Google authentication.
• Location — GPS (precise) and network-based (approximate) location while the app is in use, to power navigation and aviation features.
• Audio — microphone access for voice-command features. Audio is processed for the command and is not stored on our servers.
• Device sensors — accelerometer and gyroscope data, processed locally on your device only.
• Messaging — Wingman pilot-to-pilot communications, stored temporarily and deleted after 90 days.
• Usage metrics — non-identifying analytics about feature usage and app performance.

How We Use Your Information

• To deliver navigation, weather, and aviation services.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To enable messaging and social features.
• To improve performance, reliability, and features.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers needed to operate NexHawk:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, storage, and messaging.
• FAA and NOAA — retrieval of aviation and weather data.
• OpenStreetMap / osmdroid — mapping services.
• Google Play Billing — payment processing for subscriptions.

We may disclose information when required by court order, law, or to protect the safety of users and the public.

Your Rights and Choices

• Disable location or microphone permissions at any time in your device settings.
• Manage or turn off notifications.
• Request access to your data or deletion of your account.

NexHawk is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
